How it works

The integration between PolyPlan and ClickUp will synce the tasks from a your List or Board in ClickUp with the following information:

• Name

• Description

• Checklist

• Status

• Dates including Start Date & Due Date

• Time Estimate as the task duration

• Tags

• Priority

You can check off your checklist directly in PolyPlan, the status will updated back to ClickUp

When you mark the task as Done, the status of the task in ClickUp will be changed to the Done or Closed status group.

For the changes on other details, please make it in your ClickUp.

Steps to integrate

On website app

• Navigate to the left sidebar, and click on + Add…

• Hover on Account and choose the ClickUp option

• You will navigate to log into your ClickUp

• Choose ClickUp workspace you want to connect with PolyPlan.

• In the next screen:

  • Account name: name your integration for the easy management through integrations in PolyPlan.

  • Lists to sync: choose lists or boards that you want to sync to PolyPlan.

• Click Save

The integration of ClickUp is on the left sidebar. Click on it to see all tasks from your CluckUp account in a separate list.

On phone app

• Open PolyPlan app

• Navigate to the bottom menu bar, and tap the Extras tab, then select Integration.

• In the All Services category, find ClickUp, then tap on the button Connect.

• Sign into your ClickUp account

• Choose workspace, and click button Connect Workspace

• After going back to PolyPlan, name your integration

• Click + Add List, then choose the lists from your team space, tap on Done at last.

• Click Save to start your integration

Important Notes

• This integration only syncs the tasks that are assigned to your ClickUp account, regardless whether you are the creator of the tasks or not.

• If your task has no Time Estimate, the default duration for it on PolyPlan's timeline view is 15 minutes, regardless the time set in Start Date & End Date.

• You can drag to change the end time of task within the timeline view, this action will update the Time Estimate of your task in ClickUp.

• If you ClickUp task does not have time or have time as 4:00 AM, it will be synced as an all-day event to PolyPlan. It is due to some technical issue, we will try to fix it asap.

• After a task is completed, no change in time from PolyPlan will be synced to ClickUp

• In case you run a focus session on the task synced from PolyPlan and mark the task done after the session ends, only the status of the task is updated to ClickUp, regardless the duration of your focus session.

• Archiving or converting the task on ClickUp does not deleting the task in PolyPlan (ClickUp does not send any trigger to let PolyPlan know this event).

• If you delete a task on ClickUp then undo the action, your task is still deleted in PolyPlan (ClickUp does not send any trigger to let PolyPlan know the undo action).
